Our lab has a broad interest in the cell and developmental biology underlying epigenetic plasticity. We focus, in particular, on (1) dissecting upstream signaling pathways that may modify epigenetic activity (i.e. MassSpec), (2) analyzing molecular changes at the level of chromatin (i.e. DamID) and (3) understanding tissue-level consequences of epigenetic changes (i.e. confocal microscopy) in vivo.
