New Publication: RNA transport and developmentally-controlled axonal remodeling

Dear JEDIS,

Our first research paper has recently been published in Current Biology !
We show that RNA localization machineries are recruited to axons upon developmental remodeling, and uncover a specific function of the RNA transport factor Imp in developmentally programmed axonal regrowth and branching. To perform this study, we have developed a live-imaging assay in intact pupal brains as well as primary cultures of CNS neurons.
